As part of its celebrations of the Irish country house garden, the Irish Georgian Society invites you to the second series of talks about the Irish Country House Garden, which will be broadcast via Zoom beginning on Friday, 28th May. The five interviews in this series feature experts on Irish gardens talking about the evolution of gardens over the course of the last three hundred years. This series of talks will culminate in the exhibition ‘In Harmony with Nature: The Irish Country House Garden’ which is to open in the City Assembly House on 23rd September.

About the Series Narrator
Mr. Robert O’Byrne is a writer and lecturer specializing in the fine and decorative arts. The author of more than a dozen books, he is a former Vice-President of the Irish Georgian Society and a trustee of the Apollo Foundation. Mr. O’Byrne is the curator of the Irish Georgian Society’s 2021 garden exhibitions.
