Building Description:
St. John's Church was built under Board of First Fruits possibly as early as 1810. It remained in use as a place of worship ever since its completion. It is probable that the architect was John Bowden. This church is typical of those built under the First Fruits programme. It is a plain gabled hall with a square tower built on the west end.
Brief Description of Project: The Society pledged €3,000 to the first phase of restoration work. This includes pointing and rebidding parapets, grouting, and leadwork to the southwest nave parapet and tower.
