Birr & Midlands Chapter Day Trip to Limerick, 19th September

The Birr & Midlands Chapter of the Irish Georgian Society is delighted to announce a day trip to Limerick, visiting some of the city’s notable cultural and historic attractions.

PROVISIONAL ITINERARY

9.30am: Meet at Birr Theatre & Arts Centre, Oxmantown Mall before departing by Kearns Motorcoach to Limerick

Morning Coffee at No. 1 Pery Square Hotel

11.30am: Guided Tour of the People’s Museum of Limerick, 2 Pery Square, Limerick. Entrance fee included.

1.00pm: Lunch at The Cornstore, Thomas Street. Lunch at own expense**

2.30–5.30pm: Explore Limerick, with suggested visits including: The Hunt Museum (Entrance fee included), Limerick City Gallery of Art, Limerick Museum

5.30pm: Depart Limerick by Kearns Motorcoach

Approx. 7.00pm: Arrive back in Birr

COST: €50 PER PERSON
