Cork Chapter Visit to Cobh, 6th September

Inspirational Buildings: A visit to the harbour town of Cobh, County Cork, Saturday 6th of September, Cobh, Co. Cork

Join the Cork Chapter for a visit to the picturesque maritime town of Cobh. Guests will enjoy a guided tour of St Coleman's Cathedral E.W. Pugin and G.C. Ashlin, a visit to the Cobh Museum located in the former Scots Church, and a trip to the Sirius Arts Centre where there will be a lunch, a series of talks and a tour of the building.

Itinerary:

10.15 am Meet at main (west) entrance of St Colman’s Cathedral, Cobh, for registration.

10.30am Guided tour of the Cathedral by Dr. Ann Wilson.

11.45am Depart Cathedral for a short walking tour to Cobh Museum.

12 noon Visit to Cobh Museum.

12:30pm Take a brief walk to Sirius Arts Centre for lunch, scheduled talks, and a tour.

3.30pm Conclusion of visit.

Tickets: €50 members, €60 non members

Terms & Conditions: Participation at the discretion of the committee. No bookings accepted without payment. Booking form to be completed in full including membership number and expiry date. Programme subject to change without notice. This event is for members and their guests only.

Refunds Policy: Unfortunately, refunds can only be processed on the basis of 48 hours prior notice of cancellation to the committee member organising the event. In the event of the outing involving bus transport or prepayments, then refunds will only be possible on the basis that the vacated space is filled. All refunds are at the sole discretion of the committee.
