Restoration & Conservation: Cork Chapter Visit to North Cork Houses, Wednesday, 15th July

Join the Cork Chapter for a visit to three of the finest houses in North Cork - Carker House and Laurentinum House in Doneraile, and Blackwater Castle in Castletownroche. This day trip will include a picnic lunch.

Itinerary:

10.00 Meet at Carker House, Doneraile, Co. Cork P51 VK38 for registration.

10.30 Tour of Carker House, Doneraile courtesy of Dr. Liam Weeks.

12.00 Leave Carker House for Laurentinum

12.30 Picnic lunch (provided) at Laurentinum House, Doneraile P51 KT50 courtesy of Michael & Eileen Magner-Smith

14.00 Leave for Blackwater Castle, Castletownroche

14.30 Tour of Blackwater Castle, Castletownroche courtesy of Mr. Patrick Nordstrom

16.00 St. Mary’s Church of Ireland, Castletownroche

17.00 Conclusion of event

Lunch: A Picnic Lunch will be provided.

Tickets: cost €70 (members), €80 (non-members), including a picnic lunch and must be purchased in advance by completing the booking form below. Special reduced rates for student members, please contact corkigs@gmail.com for details.
