George Williams is a specialist in Irish Georgian furniture, and has worked extensively with many important Private and National Collections. He has been dealing in and restoring 18th and 19th century furniture for over 40 years. In this lecture George will take an in depth look at how stains and finishes were originally made and applied, and what it is that gives us the wonderful patina on surviving examples of Irish furniture.
