About Mr. John McNamee Sullivan, Jr.
John McNamee Sullivan, Jr. was born in New York City and raised in New York, Greenwich, CT, Southampton, NY and Navan, Co. Meath in Ireland. He attended the Buckley School in New York City and is a graduate of Portsmouth Priory School in Portsmouth, R.I. and attended Georgetown University and St. Joseph’s College where he graduated. He is the Chairman of Gerli & Co., Inc., a vertically integrated textile manufacturing company. John is a Board Member of the American Friends of the National Gallery of Ireland and the Irish Georgian Society. His hobbies for which he is well known include horseback riding, fox hunting, thoroughbred breeding and racing, ice hockey, golf, skiing, quail hunting, sailing and theatre.
John’s talk includes his lighthearted recollections about spending part of each year at Boyne Hill House, a stud farm his family owned in Navan, Co. Meath.
