The Practitioners and Ornaments of Musick with Museum of the American Revolution presents
MUSIC BEYOND THE FANLIGHT: An 18th-Century Dublin Entertainment

The Practitioners and Ornaments of Musick present an evening concert celebrating the artistic and international worlds of Richard St. George, an Irish artist and officer in the British Army (ca. 1752-1798). This entertainment will feature works heard in the Concert Rooms, Music Societies, Theatres, and grand private houses of the Irish Georgian capital composed by Handel, Arne, Corelli, Roseingrave, Geminiani and O’Carolan, the Irish bard, among other esteemed masters. John Burkhalter, founder of The Practitioners of Musick and a current member of the Irish Georgian Society and Museum of the American Revolution, will present an illustrated musical performance featuring:

Abigail Chapman
– Soprano
Kerry Heimann
– Harpsichord
