International Tour to Naples 'Neoclassical Naples: 'In the Footsteps of William Hamilton'

Staying in Naples, we will trace the residences used by the royal couple Ferdinand I and Maria-Carolina of the Two Sicilies, whose court drew many notable visitors. We will visit the Capodimonte and the Castelnuovo, as well as her Villa Floridiana, an elegant Neoclassical residence that now houses a porcelain collection. We will see two residences belonging to the family of the Prime Minister Sir John Acton, the Villa Pignatelli and Palazzo Cellammare. An excursion to Caserta, the royal hunting box, will include a visit to the famous San Leucio silk factor and a private palazzo. There will also be a visit to Herculaneum and the National Archaeological Museum, the biggest Roman architectural museum in the world, as well as final dinner in a palazzo with a spectacular view of the Bay of Naples.

The tour is based on recommended flights on Ryanair, departing Dublin Sunday 13 October 16.10 arriving Naples 20.25 and returning to Dublin on Saturday 19 October at 15.00 arriving Dublin 17.25.
