As part of its celebrations of the Irish country house garden, the Irish Georgian Society is providing a second opportunity to watch Robert O'Byrne's interview with Maria Levinge.

It begins with an introductory talk covering the history of the Irish Country House Garden from the late 17th century through to the beginning of the 20th century. It is followed by four interviews with prominent Irish women painters in their studios talking about Irish Walled Gardens.

Mr. Robert O’Byrne is a writer and lecturer specializing in the fine and decorative arts. The author of more than a dozen books, he is a former Vice-President of the Irish Georgian Society and a trustee of the Apollo Foundation. Mr. O’Byrne is the curator of the Irish Georgian Society’s 2021 garden exhibitions.
