Morning tour to Charleville House, Co. Wicklow

22.08.2026, 10:30 A.M.

Charleville House was built in 1797 and was attributed by Mark Bence Jones to the architect Whitmore Davis who was engaged to replace an earlier house that had been destroyed by fire. It is a nine-bay two-storey Palladian style house with a three-storey pedimented breakfront and is set in magnificent grounds with views out over the Dargle River Valley towards the Powerscourt estate. The trip will include a guided tour of the house while visitors will be able to explore the gardens at their own pace.

NB Attendees will use their own transport to and from this tour.
